Showbie is pleased to have been recently featured in the Tutora Hottest EdTech of 2017 list.
Tutora is a UK-based company that help families find a private tutor to help improve their children’s education. With a community of thousands of private tutors, they regularly received requests asking for advice on new teaching and learning technology that tutors could use to enhance their teaching ability.
In an effort to help them and everyone else out, Tutora reached out to many EdTech and education experts from all over the world, stretching as far as India and Singapore. They asked them to recommend their favourite tools – pieces of teaching tech that they absolutely could not live without.
Altogether, the best and brightest in education nominated over 80 different companies from all over the world to feature on the list – and Showbie was among them.
Showbie was nominated by Kerry Gallagher whose school, St John’s Prep, “absolutely love using Showbie”. Alongside working at St John’s Prep as a Digital Learning Specialist, Kerry is also the Director of K12 education at ConnectSafely, a Silicon Valley based nonprofit organization dedicated to educating users of connected technology about safety, privacy and security.
